BET HIP HOP AWARDS REPORT: 5 GOOD MINUTES

As usual, last night's BET awards was a boring ode to the gilded frailty of southern rap. After they wasted Jay-Z to perform the worst track off The Blueprint 3, the New Boyz met their ghosts of Christmas future. Annually, the best parts of the broadcast are the DJ Premier-led cypher sessions, but this year the show was stolen by the reunion of the classic ATL-centric crew, Goodie Mob.
